Nice Floor, Trip to Emergency Room

by Scott
(Greenville, SC)

We bought this product instead of hardwood because we have two young kids and thought this would take wear and tear better. Little did we know the flooring is slicker than an ice skating pond and there's supposedly no way to fix it. It's cost countless falls for my wife, myself, my six year old and worst of all my two year old. After simply walking down the hall in his socks he fell backwards violently and we spent the evening in emergency room. I would not recommend this product to anyone that is going to use a large amount and/or put it in an area where you actually want to walk.

I expected this floor to stay nice and shinny but no matter how many times I wipe it it looks all smudged very disappointed and now I find the warranty says gloss reduction is not wear really

Allen and Roth flooring NEW
by: Anonymous

I had this flooring placed in my kitcgen, dining area, and large living room. We have not had problems with slipping on the flooring. We love it. Now when my dog gets excited when someone comes to visit, HE has trouble getting traction but, all the scratching he does to do so...NO SCRATCHES, it's unbelievable how it doesn't scratch. Great Flooring!!

Walking is hard NEW
by: Anonymous

I have this flooring through my whole house, including very high traffic areas like the living room. I've never slipped or even had it cross my mind. Neither has my 3 year old Daughter, where she also has it installed in her bedroom. This does not match my experiences, to say the least.

Read the review about the floor being very slippery, resulting in ER visits. What brand of floor was involved?

Safer without socks. NEW
by: Anonymous

Safer to wear slippers not socks on any surface to avoid slipping. However, you can buy non-skid socks if you hate having slippers on.
