Bad Allen Roth Purchase

I bought allen and Roth 10 mm warm walnut in Sep 2014. After a week , I could noticed Poor quality, very disappointed , does not stay clean., smugges, and gets damaged too easy. It was a huge mistake. Do not recommend it to anybody. We put it in master- bedroom, living room , kitchen and entrance.
Last night I bought a steam mop Shark to see if it was the answer to my floor nightmare. It was not, I feel it cleans but floor does not look good.
Looks grease and everything shows on the floor.

Hi Virginia, I feel bad for your situation. Its unfortunate that we as consumers cannot know for sure what we are getting until after the fact.

I'm glad that you are spreading the word about a product that looks bad and takes a lot of effort to maintain. When I installed the Allen Roth laminate it wasn't like what you are describing.

They sell different variations under the same name. Some of the finishes I've seen on laminate
were very dull with hardly any shine and others were very shiny.

I installed a piano finish which
shined like glass, at the time I thought this is going to show every smudge. I was surprised when it didn't show anything at all, in fact it was a very nice floor and it was hard to scratch.

I think there should be a way for folks to see
the floor before they buy, or at least be informed as to how it will preform.

You never know, maybe Lowes might Make it right for you. Give them a call and see what they say.
